This December marks a significant milestone for McIntosh & Son: 20 years of serving the Dalby region.
Since 2004, McIntosh & Son has proudly worked alongside local growers, contractors, and businesses, building partnerships that have strengthened agriculture and machinery operations in the vibrant community.
The People Behind the Success
Stuart McIntosh, McIntosh & Son director, while reflecting on the past two decades in the region said that "the heart of McIntosh & Son in Dalby is the dedicated staff."
"Their expertise, passion, and commitment to delivering exceptional service have been instrumental in supporting our customers' growth and success."
When Stuart, and his father Ian McIntosh, were first approached about taking on the business in Dalby, they knew that having good people was essential.
“In those initial meetings, we met people like Carlene Cramb (sales administration), Grant Golding (service) and Terry Clark (sales) – who are all still working with us today – and it was because of those people that we had the confidence to sign the dotted line,” Stuart said.
“The success of the Dalby branch really has come down to the work and efforts of that team, and we are immensely proud of how they’ve driven our Dalby operations.”
Opportunities in Dalby
Dalby is a hub for agriculture and industry in south east Queensland with a diverse range of farming systems.
David Capper, McIntosh Group CEO, said that for McIntosh & Son, being in Dalby means the dealership group has the opportunity to be exposed to an innovative and diverse group of customers.
“It’s important that we continue to learn to stay attuned to the unique needs of the area.”
“The progressive farming practices, and community spirit make it a rewarding region to work in and support.”
David said Cameron Jordan, Dalby dealer principal, has helped the branch meet its potential.
“Cameron’s knowledge of the area and the industry are extensive, but more than that, he understands the importance of relationships and has ensured the dealership stays focused on helping local growers achieve their operational goals,” Dave said.
“He’s a great leader for the branch and has been an anchor for the team.”
