Your role:

Working as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, you will join a team of Service professionals who have a great sense of pride in delivering an exceptional standard of service to our Wheatbelt, Midwest & Great Southern customers.

Your work will vary from being in the workshop - completing all fit outs of new and used Agricultural Machinery, prior to delivery - through to on-farm break down call outs and servicing.

Choose from any of our locations listed – Geraldton, Moora, Wongan Hills, Merredin, Kulin, Katanning, Albany or Esperance.

You will need to:

  • Be trade qualified – Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic

Katanning

Truck Driver

Our Katanning branch is currently seeking an experienced and qualified truck driver to support our busy Dealership.

You will need to be able to operate independently, as well as part of a team, and have good communications skills. You will also need to be physically fit and willing and able to undertake manual work when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow instructions for the pickup, transportation and delivery of equipment, parts and supplies to Customers and suppliers of the Dealership
  • Safely load, flag and unload trucks.
  • Tag every unit which is delivered back to the dealership with customer name.
  • Check condition of the equipment delivered.
  • Operate trucks owned by the Dealership and hold the required licenses.
  • Keep a truck driver log, all necessary paperwork, physicals when requested and any other legal requirements to drive.
  • Obtain necessary signatures and receipts.
  • Obtain any required permits to haul freight in or out of the state.
  • Keep the trucks in excellent condition by performing necessary maintenance and repairs and cleaning.
  • Be sure that every trip and load hauled are documented, either with a delivery and pickup order or a job ticket.
  • Make certain all Customer paperwork is included with the delivery, i.e. Operator’s Manual, and that the Warranty Registration is signed.
  • Treat customers and co-workers in a friendly, courteous manner.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties assigned to the job and to meet the needs of the Service Department.

To be successful in the role:

  • Hold a current and appropriate HR license
  • Worked in a similar role previously
  • Minimum licence HC MC preferred
  • Previous oversize experience but not essential
  • Familiar with oversize regulation
  • Hold an oversize pilot ticket or be willing to obtain
  • On the job training will be provider
  • Primarily serving the southern branches

Branch Administrator / Financial Controller

The high degree of organic growth that the construction equipment business has experienced in recent years has presented the opportunity for a commercially astute and down to earth Branch Administrator / Financial Controller to join the Perth team.

This role will provide accurate, timely and commercial information to aid decision making, manage the business’ cash and ensure compliance is maintained. This role works closely with senior leaders and the Group Administrator providing financial information for consolidated reporting, audit and strategy setting.

This is a broad role that is responsible for all aspects of the financial management for the construction equipment business which includes, but is not limited to, AR, AP, payroll and debtor management through to end of month reporting and processes, cashflow management, budgeting, compliance, stakeholder management and commercial and strategy advice. The role will ensure that all support administration functions and processes spread across the divisions whilst being responsible for a small team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing the senior team and Group Administrator with the information required for strategic development;
  • Identifying and making recommendations that optimise business processes and improve financial and other internal controls;
  • Advising on the financial implications of proposed strategies through modelling and analysis;
  • Processing AR, AP and payroll functions;
  • Managing reconciliation processes;
  • Overseeing sales administration process;
  • Working with the management team to review and address outstanding debtors;
  • Managing Floorplan finance including reconciliations, tracking curtailment and due dates and discounts;
  • Driving planning/budgeting/forecasting processes with the management team (including variance reporting);
  • Providing relevant information for business budgeting processes;
  • Managing cashflow, providing reports and flagging issues with the General Manager;
  • Providing financial reports with accompanying analysis and commentary in line with agreed schedule as required;
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements;
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Undertaking regular risk reviews and audits;
  • Providing accurate and timely information to Group Administrator for any audit or tax related matters; and
  • Providing expert technical advice to the admin team members, developing the skills required to achieve company processes and objectives.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Demonstrated success in a similar role for a company of similar scale and complexity
  • Ability to build relationships with geographically dispersed teams
  • Strong technical accounting and reporting capabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • A personal drive for growth and development
  • Well developed mentoring and leadership skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Experience in machinery or similar sector would be ideal but is not essential

Reporting to the Parts Manager, your primary responsibility will be performing various despatch and warehouse functions and you will be given the opportunity to improve and contribute to the ongoing growth and success.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Receiving and checking arrival of inventory from suppliers, freight forwarders and local suppliers
  • Assisting to provide regular flow of inventory to ensure adequate supply
  • Picking and packing orders for despatch, using the appropriate computer operating system
  • Recording product quality problems
  • Participating in stocktakes
  • General warehouse duties

About you:

ESSENTIAL

  • Previous experience in a medium warehouse environment
  • Current and valid driver’s licence
  • Forklift Ticket
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and maintain a sense of urgency
  • High accuracy and low error rates in counting, recording and data entry of parts information

DESIRABLE

  • Previous experience in machinery parts

Working as an Industrial Detailer & Painter, you will be delivering an exceptional standard of service to our Wongan Hills customers.

In the Detailer role you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and restoring our traded, or serviced equipment including; washing, polishing and painting. In this role you will also do our priming and painting.
You will need to be proficient with basic hand tools to support the service team when and if required. You will also keep our new machinery fleet in top condition and presented ready for sale.
The role may also include some basic yard hand duties and general yard maintenance jobs.

You will need to:

  • Be hardworking and efficient
  • Be able to work unsupervised
  • Be reliable
  • Experience with detailing is preferred, not essential
  • Experience with painting is desired but not essential as we can train
