Key responsibilities:

The Role:

Based at our Geraldton dealership, we are seeking an experienced MC/HC Driver to provide support to the service team, ensuring a high standard of service is delivered to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities for MC/HC Truck Driver include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all goods, products and materials are adequately secured and maintained in good order before and during transport.
  • Ensure compliance with traffic laws and transportation procedures.

McIntosh & Son, Wongan Hills is seeking an Administration all-rounder, to support the team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role provides essential financial and administrative support to our branch team while also overseeing the day-to-day coordination of one team member in Reception.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail—someone who is friendly, organised, and driven to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Include:

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable (Essential Demonstrated Experience)

  • Process supplier invoices, purchase orders, payments and credit notes with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage customer invoicing, payment allocations, reconciliations and follow-up of overdue accounts to maintain consistent cashflow.

Daily Administration Support

  • Perform a broad range of administrative tasks to assist with the smooth running of the branch, including managing correspondence, filing, preparing documents, organising records and maintaining office systems.

Debtor & Creditor Management

  • Maintain up-to-date debtor and creditor ledgers, monitor account balances, resolve discrepancies and communicate effectively with customers and suppliers regarding account queries.

Banking & Reconciliations

  • Handle daily banking requirements such as deposits, EFT transactions, reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.

Data Entry

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain data across multiple systems to ensure records are precise, current and accessible for reporting and operational needs.

General Office Administration

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the branch through report preparation, document formatting, scheduling, ordering supplies and assisting with various administrative tasks as required.

Team Coordination – Reception

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to one Reception team member, overseeing workflow, task allocation and service standards.
  • Assist in creating a positive, professional and customer-focused front-of-house environment.

Reception Support (as needed)

  • Provide coverage for reception duties, including answering incoming phone calls, greeting visitors and ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly and professionally.

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary or minimum of 5 years equivalent experience in a Finance/Accounts role with a focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Experience with General Ledger, Balance Sheet and P&L Analysis and reporting
  • Outstanding and professional telephone manner
  • Proficient computer literacy, including Word, Excel (Intermediate leave) and Outlook
