What you’ll be doing:

Our Redcliffe Branch has an opportunity for a Construction Equipment Sales Representative to join the team with key responsibilities, for CASE Construction, Liugong and New Holland Construction Equipment and Merlo Telehandlers.

Tasks include:

  • Account management inclusive of sales budgets in line with Company targets and goals as they relate to customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Maintenance of current product knowledge on features and benefits of all machinery and equipment sold by the dealership

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Handy Person / Gardener to take the lead and overall responsibility for the general maintenance and upkeep of the grounds and buildings throughout our Redcliffe Dealership.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Carrying out minor maintenance tasks and referring specialist repair works
  • Undertaking minor repair works covering all trades (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, minor painting, etc.), where feasible, and supervise sub-contracted workers as required
  • Carrying out inspections of external grounds and internal areas for safety and cleanliness and checking for faults/damage
  • Undertaking all gardening duties required to maintain the grounds
  • Operating a sweeper and rubbish collection to maintain clean car parks and driveways
  • Source relevant tools and materials as required and ensure storage compliance, where required
  • Maintain tools and equipment where relevant, ensure that all equipment is accounted for daily and kept in a secure, safe location to be locked away when not in use
  • Vehicle detailing

Qualifications & experience

  • Experience as a general handy person, tradesman or landscaper/gardener
  • A valid driver’s licence
  • Current forklift ticket (desirable)
  • Excellent people skills: able to establish strong working relationships and build rapport with colleagues and manager(s)
  • Punctual and able to manage time and workload effectively
  • Able to take ownership of issues and show initiative to solve problems as issues arise
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

As a key member of the Wongan Hills branch team, who specialise in Agricultural machinery and equipment, this role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Parts department, which includes the warehouse, by implementing strategy and planning to ensure we are providing excellent customer service to our valued customers and enable internal servicing and repair to complete their work without delay.

If you are a meticulous, experienced, and customer-focused Parts Manager who wants to enhance their leadership capabilities we are interested in hearing from you.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proven ability to generate new sales opportunities
  • Lead, motivate and develop staff to provide quality service to our customers while exceeding productivity and sales requirements
  • Continuous improvement of customer service and quality culture
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Identify and capture new opportunities to expand our product range and customer base
  • Establish procedures and policies to ensure competitive pricing and internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Ensure effective marketing is utilised for promotions/new parts/discounts
