Precision Farming Specialist

Our Esperance dealership is currently seeking a qualified Precision Farming Specialist to join its team.

We are searching for candidates with sales and service experience, preferably in the agricultural industry for our growing Precision Farming product portfolio including systems for guidance, auto-steering, mapping, and variable rate (VRT) control applications.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, "hands on" individual that has a passion for agriculture technology evolution. This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining customer relationships for new and existing agricultural management systems and technology. The individual will also be responsible for making field calls to troubleshoot/repair systems, perform updates on software, train customers and internal employees on new equipment and set up.

Candidates should have technical experience in operation and support of precision farming products such as VRT, GPS, Telematics and working with new and developing technology such as desktop software for GPS and Data Management.

Within a proactive and progressive team environment, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent long-term customer relationships along with:

  • Sales and installation of equipment, accessories and service as a total customer solution;
  • Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations;
  • Provide timely follow up on each sale to ensure customer satisfaction;

Our Geraldton branch is seeking an Agricultural Machinery Sales Representative.

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent long-term customer relationships and generating strong machinery sales.

Your main responsibilities include;

  • Establishing, developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Analysis of existing/potential customer needs
  • Presenting, promoting and selling products/services to existing and prospective customers
  • Achieving agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Ordering equipment, monitoring pricing, and forecasting
  • Attending Field Days and Trade Shows
  • Tracking sales and provide status reports
  • Ensuring the swift resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Keeping abreast of best practices in market and communicating trends back to the business

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability to build positive professional relationships with clients

Our Merredin dealership is currently seeking a highly motivated Parts Interpreter to join its team.

Your main responsibilities include;

  • Provide accurate information and advice to customers and internal staff
  • Record all sales and or counter transactions efficiently
  • Assist with merchandising displays
  • Verify shipment receivals
  • Investigate shortages and report to Parts Manager
  • Verifying shipment receivals
  • Dependent on seasonal demand, work Saturday mornings and assume on call responsibilities for afterhours parts sales
  • Assistance as requested by the Parts Manager
  • Actively manage parts inventory to ensure high turnover parts are readily available and low turnover parts are ordered as required
  • Partake in stocktakes
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • Ensure knowledge is up to date in relation to new and deleted parts/products

We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

Essential

  • 2 years’ work experience as a Part Interpreter
  • Previous experience arranging freight and transport for urgently required parts
  • High level of knowledge of parts merchandising and associated selling techniques
  • Ability to actively seek out new parts sales opportunities and to build on customer relationships
  • Good understanding of agricultural parts

Desirable:

  • 1 years’ experience working in the Agricultural industry
  • Certificate III in Warehousing Operations or similar
  • Previous experience with Equip software
  • Good understanding of agricultural parts
