  • Monitor the use of materials, parts, and tools to ensure the team have what they need and minimise waste and damage.
  • Provide support, direction and training as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
  • In conjunction with the Service Manager and other Branch Management, carry out incident, accident and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closures.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a qualified Agricultural Mechanic or similar
  • Be able to exercise considerable initiative/judgement in work methods and in interpreting anddelegating work requirements/goals
  • Strong communication skills
  • Hands-on approach
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Be able to work cross functionally and collaboratively with many stakeholders

Due to ongoing business growth, we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative - Agricultural Machinery located in Moora.

The Role:

You will be responsible for contributing to the ongoing performance of the branch's agricultural machinery sales department. You will be a driven professional with a strong desire to achieve individual and team results, while possessing both the attitude and interpersonal skills to provide the highest level of customer service for your clients.

  • Account management inclusive of sales budgets in line with Company targets and goals as they relate to customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Work in conjunction with other team members to develop and implement strategies to enter new markets, expand customer base & grow market share.
  • Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all agricultural machinery and related equipment sold by the dealership.
  • Provide technical expertise on products and specifications to sales staff and customers during the sales and quoting process.
  • Monitor competitive activity/products and trends.
  • Manage the advertising process (in conjunction with the Marketing Team) for products including presentation of machinery descriptions and photography.
  • Conduct field demonstrations and assistance at field days.
  • Ensure customer machinery handover is conducted professionally and exceeds the expectations of our customers.

You will have:

  • Account management skills with the ability to identify new opportunities - i.e. markets, clients, products & services.
  • Commercial awareness with a consultative sales approach.
  • Proven knowledge of different sales techniques and pipeline management.
