Your Responsibilities:

Parts Storeperson/Interpreter

Parts Storeperson/Interpreter

Based at our Merredin dealership, this role performs a variety of in-store customer service and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale, and delivery of parts and accessories.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing orders in their proper inventory locations.
  • Monitors shortages and expedites processing through reporting to Parts Manager.
  • Sells parts products to meet customer needs.
  • Records sales and/or counter transactions.
  • Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
  • assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
  • Controls showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Participates in all job-related training and development.
  • Performs routine housekeeping tasks.
  • Maintains condition of department vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
  • Resolve customer complaints relative to parts service with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention of all customers. Review customer complaints and
  • solutions with the Parts Manager.
  • Due to seasonal demand, will be required to work Saturday mornings and be on call for after hour’s parts sales.
  • Carry out other duties that may be requested by the Parts or Branch Manager.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Experience in Parts Department operations preferred.
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions and basic data entry.
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
  • Ability to lift items weighing upto 25 kg.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic Parts Department reports.
  • Forklift licence

About you:

A self-motivated individual who thrives on providing the highest level of customer service, whilst maximising productivity. This key leadership role requires excellent interpersonal & communication skills and has the ability to multi-task and delegate. The ideal candidate will provide and maintain excellent customer service and be the frontline service contact for our valued external customers.

Your responsibilities will include:
