As a key member of the branch team this role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Parts department, which includes the warehouse, by implementing strategy and planning to ensure we are providing excellent customer service to our valued customers and enable internal servicing and repair to complete their work without delay.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proven ability to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Lead, motivate and develop staff to provide quality service to our customers while exceeding productivity and sales requirements.

  • Experience in a similar role, in leadership and/or Parts related role is desired.
  • Demonstrated sales experience and highly motivated to exceed targets.
  • In depth knowledge of parts/warehouse management.
  • Supplier and customer service relationship focus.
  • Highly proficient in parts merchandising, selling techniques and parts ordering software.
  • Superior problem-solving skills and sense of urgency.
  • Excellent ability to interpret a technical diagram.

Our Cunderdin Branch has an opportunity for a Warehouse Operator / Store Person to join the team in a full-time role working 7am to 4pm weekdays with Saturday working via a roster.

About the role:

Your primary responsibility will be performing various despatch, warehouse and delivery functions and you will be given the opportunity to improve and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of our Cunderdin branch. You will be given on the job training to cater to any applicants skill & knowledge level that has a willingness to learn.

What you will be doing:

  • Receiving and checking the arrival of inventory supplies, freight forwarders and local suppliers.
  • Maintain all delivery documentation.
  • Picking and packing orders for despatch, using the appropriate computer operating system.
  • Recording product quality issues.
  • Participating in stocktakes.
  • General Warehouse duties.
  • Safely operate and conduct vehicle checks of the company delivery vehicle.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Excellent communication skills, customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • You understand the benefits of safety and like to work in a safe manner at all times.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and maintain a sense of urgency.

Regional Financial Controller

Regional Financial Controller

The Southern Group is currently seeking a Regional Financial Controller to manage all financial aspects of the Katanning, Kulin, Narrogin, Albany & Esperance locations. This is a key leadership role to the McIntosh and Son retail operation and will provide direct support to the General Manager – South.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and provide leadership to the team of branch administrators across the South locations.
  • Own the budgeting and forecasting process for the South locations.
  • Be the identified “champion” for the South for our ERP system E-Emphasys.
  • Review the daily bank rec performed by your team and provide a formal sign off.
  • Manage Floorplan finance / bailment facilities including reconciliations, tracking curtailment and due dates and discounts.
  • Review and own the balance sheet reconciliation process for the South.
  • Oversee AR, AP and payroll functions of Great Southern group.
  • Approve all cash transactions made by the South.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements (ATO, WA Office of State Revenue, licensing bodies etc).
  • Provide your expertise in solving all administrative issues related to sales, parts and service.
  • Train and develop the Admin and Finance team members, developing the skills required to achieve company objectives.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture across the branches of the Great Southern group.
  • Undertake performance management as required.
  • Undertake recruitment as required.
  • Manage the cash flow forecasting process ensuring that the South is appropriately funded.
  • Ensure all administrative functions have procedure documentation.
  • Review credit card transactions.
  • Work with the group finance team on general controls uplift. Support group finance with help on identified audit queries relating to the South.
  • Manage the month end close process for the South, adhering to Group Finances directions on closure timelines.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a previous financial leadership role. Ideally in an agricultural background or dealership-based business.
  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • Accountability.

  • Build Sheets – collate, open, monitor Repair Orders as required
  • Open, maintain and monitor Repair Orders as required

  • Collate, enter and follow-up services to Payroll (timecards, on call rosters, leave forms)
