A new family of AccuPulse TwinJet (APTJ) flat spray nozzles for pulse width modulation (PWM) equipped sprayers has been introduced by TeeJet Technologies

The non-air induction spray tip features a patent-pending design that incorporates a unique recirculating chamber and concave exit orifice geometry.

The AccuPulse TwinJet produces droplets primarily in the Extremely Coarse (XC) and Ultra Coarse (UC) droplet size range for maximum drift control.

This spray nozzle is ideal for broadcast application of soil applied, pre-emergent and post-emergent systematic herbicides, including glyphosate systematic herbicides, including glyphosate and 2,4-D.

The AccuPulse TwinJet offers a 110 degree wide, tapered, twin spray pattern for improved coverage and canopy penetration. This tip is being offered in 015-12 capacities for a wide range of application rates and ground speeds.

"The AccuPulse TwinJet was designed specifically for use with PWM control systems," noted Jake Lanyon, technical specialist with TeeJet Australasia.

"The unique design provides rapid pattern formation, consistent droplet size, and excellent spray distribution and coverage, both in the direction of travel as well as across the boom.

"These are important details to consider when operating PWM equipped sprayers. We expect the AccuPulse TwinJet will prove very popular with operators of PWM equipped sprayers."

Lanyon added that the AccuPulse TwinJet can also be used for non-PWM applications, where maximum drift control and coverage is required.

"It's extremely compact design fits into tight boom spaces and standard nozzle caps, and excellent wear life and chemical resistance is assured with its durable acetal construction."

TeeJet Technologies manufactures a comprehensive line of products including agricultural spray nozzles for various herbicide/fungicide applications, boom components, valves/manifolds, strainers, and spray guns, as well as GPS guidance systems, sprayer control systems, ISOBUS job computers, assisted steering systems and other precision farming products.
