New T7 HD heading to Australia in 2022

McIntosh & Son

NEW Holland has released its leatest heavy duty tractor to the European market but it wont reach Australian shores until 2022.

The T7 HD was launched virtually in late July and features the new Horizon Ultra cab and PLM intelligence and features.

It is part of the 14-model T7 range and has been built in response to customer demand for more cabin room, comfort, quality, and connectivity.

New Holland Agriculture global tractors product management leader Oscar Baroncelli said the Horizon Ultra cab would transform customers’ experiences when working in the field.

“The T7 HD might seem the same from outside, with the same compact, stylish appearance,” Mr Baroncelli said.

“But it’s totally new inside – just two per cent of parts are carryovers from the previous model.

“It is more connected than ever and sets a new record as the quietest in the industry with just 66 dBA.”

The cab on the T7 HD has been lengthened to provide extra room for the passenger and more floor space.

Visibility to the front and down to the rear hitch and implement has been improved and cameras are focused on the area around the tractor.

There’s also plenty of storage available including a 30-litre storage space behind the seat, a 12L capacity cooled compartment and covered storage behind the passenger seat with a USB charging point and a mains voltage socket.

In an industry first, the CentreView display has been placed in the centre of the steering wheel to provide a clear line of sight.

A new PLM receiver has also been introduced providing reliable positioning, compensating for terrain variations and helping to quickly acquire guidance lines.
