Having established itself in the region for nearly 40 years, McIntosh & Son is looking for a self-motivated Service Manager who will embrace the challenges of this role and provide leadership to the service team.

One of the main aims of this role is to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction whilst maximising revenue and productivity of the service department. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is an important leadership position that requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to multi-task and delegate.


  • Daily management of the Service Department
  • Allocation of work to Service Technicians, Apprentices and Trades Assistants
  • Ongoing process improvement and planning
  • Recruitment, training and development of the Service Team
  • Controlling and maintaining quality workmanship


  • A thorough understanding of mechanical equipment
  • A clear communicator with a passion for customer service
  • Proven skills in operations management including scheduling, planning and training
